2026 Brian Blood Glucose and Heart Rate Self StudyOura Ring 4 and Stelo Glucose Monitor (6/25/2026)

Brian wore an Oura Ring (basically heart rate monitor) and Stelo Blood Glucose monitor (spiked into my upper arm) for about 14 days. This is the last 5 days of data preserved in screenshots. The last 5 days is very representative of what I saw the whole time.
Why Did I Do This? Something is wrong with me in that I am exhausted all the time. I have no stamina, and at certain parts of the day I cannot keep my eyes open. A small task like putting away laundry wipes me out. I take 2 or 3 naps a day now, and this is a GIGANTIC CHANGE from how I felt a year or two ago. Things like Cortisol tests (24 hour urine tests ordered by my doctor) and various other blood tests haven't turned up anything out of the ordinary or out of range. I would try anything at this point to return to even half normal.
Written summary/observations: I have no idea what any of this means, I'm not a doctor. My short summary is I found nothing unusual enough to explain why I am tired all the time. My blood sugar (glucose) stayed "in range" most of the time (70 mg/dL - 140 mg/dL) according to the general Stelo graph (the green bar section). It very reproducibly spiked up to 165 or 170 (out of range) after meals for 1 hour until it came down. A sugary drink like Sprite or orange juice would cause the biggest spike. My very highest spikes (immediately after big meals with sugary drinks) would hit 185 mg/dL for a short time (15 minutes) but this occurred only twice or three times in 14 days. Heart Rate: My heart rate has always been "a bit high" (95 bpm) when measured in the doctor's office over the years, but the most interesting parts of wearing the Oura ring was seeing how low my heart rate got at night (as low as 63 bpm some nights) which I guess is normal but I never see it while I'm awake. When I expended even a tiny bit of effort doing something like cleaning the house my heart rate was up over 100 for a short time, and the highest I recorded was about 125 bpm several times over the 14 days.
This first picture below is a summary of the data which I kind of "lined up" in time each day (click on the image below for a larger version.
The Stelo summarizing my 7 day average blood glucose:
The Oura Ring summarizing my heart rate. The Oura ring is marketed mostly toward women, and I don't know how scientific the various things like "stress" are.
Below are the original screenshots, not lined up as well in time but more complete.
That's it!
